Make the Cut In Network Marketing/ Article Marketing

The first things we notice in our quest for knowledge on marketing, are the vast amount of information and sales pitches demanding our attention – Information overload.

Some of this may be the real thing, but so much of it is flat-out spam. All the different pitches, and all they want is one thing, and that is your money.

There are indeed many different ways to make money on the internet. The problem is, they all seem to cost money to begin. So we look for a system that doesn’t need any money to start. Or if we do have to spend, it will be very minimal. It seems impossible, but there is a way. I’ve found affiliate marketing to be an easy way to get to where we want to be.

Affiliate marketing is selling a product or service for a company for a commission.

The company will give you a special link with your affiliate code embedded. This link will be to their sales page. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to advertise this link in different creative ways. There are many different ways to go about this, but by far the easiest is article marketing.

Article marketing is by far the best free source of promotion for your affiliate work. Did I mention free? Yes, free. Most of the time… There are paid methods, but our goal is to do things as close to free as we can.

So, we come to Squidoo, one of the best free sources for getting your message out for the world to see. Squidoo, though, is an e-book in and of itself. Learning the ins and outs can seem overwhelming.

Lucky us! There is an angel of light who actually cares enough to share some of her work. I say some, because she does also have products that she sells. But even that is minimal. Her name is Jennifer “Pot Pie Girl” Ledbetter.

She’s actually one of us. Started with zip as far as knowledge, and worked and worked and worked to gain what she has now. She cares enough to help us out and reduce our learning curve. You simply don’t meet people on the ‘net’ who are willing to actually share, but she is one of them.

It scares me to think about going it alone. She knows that feeling, to be without resources. She has a free e-book on how to create your Web pages on Squidoo. You need this if you are starting out.

First off though, you need a ClickBank account. Go to the top of the page and click ’sign up’. After you have signed up, browse the different offerings and see which is to your liking. Sign up under that publisher, get your affiliate link, and off you go. Negotiating ClickBank is another e-book series of it’s own, also.

Here is a link to help you on your way with Clickbank. It is a series of instructional videos so that now, you have both sides of the equation. You’ll have product and a way to market. Actually, the videos propose marketing by submitting your work to article directories. Which isn’t bad, in fact it’s required, if you’re going to have a real go at having your articles visited by more than only a handful of subscribers. Squidoo though, has preexisting authority with Google, which you can have a free ride on, if you publish your articles through them.
