For some individuals, this is the way to proceed. I have met a some people over the years that are completely sold on it. I know a few individuals who make over $100k a year working their multi level marketing undertaking. The negative part about it is that they were the only one earning money. No one on their team was duplicating their efforts or success. Whether they were selling vitamins, travel, a energy saver product, health products, juice beverage products, or widgets and twidgets. I have attempted it all and it was a very trying life for me. Once I ran out of my friends, family and acquaintances to irritate about my new enterprise, once I had two or
three home gatherings, I ran out of anywhere to sell, so I started purchasing leads in the hope of trying to convert some people into my business.

That is so much more difficult than it seems. Sure I made sales, but by the time I was getting to the next profit level, the people who I brought in 2-3 months ago were quitting. This is because the products are usually overpriced and the volume you are required to purchase to maintain your present position is unrealeastic and extremly high. It is hard to sell overpriced products.

You have Wal-Mart and others out there with products making the same claims with prices at 25 to 50% of your products. This is particularly true with health and beauty products. This is why I could never make it to the next big payout level of the payment plan.

For some reason, I would always come short of the next bonus payment. Usually, I would fall short of personal volume or group volume or I would have enough on my left side, but not enough on my right side, so I would miss out on the big paydays, time after time.

This got to be more of the same overdone information you hear about why MLM doesn’t work for most people and the only people succeeding are the people at the top of the pyramid. Those with huge dowlines and people that have been in the business a long time and lists of hundreds of thousands of people to market to. For any new person joining, good luck.

I once watched a victim put $12,000 into a business to quit within a year. Being new to internet marketing at that time, I saw me put in more than that and am to embarressed to admit how much. I was convinced you could buy your way out with enough money, drive and ambition. Yes, I know
with such a naive and arrogant attitude, I sound like politician  I am not a politician. the big difference between a politician and me was, It was MY money. All of it was my money. If I sound bitter, its because, I am. Most are more knowledgeable than that and would have quit after a few months, but I did not. I stayed in for more than two years. I was determined and did not want to fail. So I and many others kept on the same silly path until there was no investment left. So much for the help.

The only thing I have found on the internet to work for most people is a direct sales company that pays you 80 to100% of the sale.

Companies that have a price point of less than $1000 to start. This is the only way you have a chance to make substantial money.

Beware of the $1500 to $5000 programs, the start up company and program jumpers. The truth about start ups is that they have no track record. You have no idea if they will be profitable two years later. Watch out for people who cross over every time a new program comes out on the web. Most importantly, be careful of the program that costs more than $1000.00. They are hard to sell, no matter how good it sounds.
